Dust Blow is part of an ongoing project in which the artist seeks out anonymously made photographs at flea markets of melancholic or sublime scenes. Lebrija then writes the date and place of the flea market on the reverse of the original and restores and reprints a large format version of the image. He gives the original in an envelope to the buyer of the piece in order to savour the intimacy of its existence and displays the reprinted version shown here. Titling the work also lends a new dimension to the content and reading of the image.
