Nomenus Quarterly is a collaborative publication and platform, working with artists of all mediums and disciplines within the worlds of the fine-art and fashion. It is published online four times per year, and additionally in print as a series of limited edition folios and books. Nomenus was conceived initially as a location where commercial artists could be viewed in a more intimate and personal manner, focusing on the physical act of creation. and utilizing a more classical cannon of aesthetics. All works presented in Nomenus are created for each edition, or are previously unpublished. In 2009 Nomenus has also teamed up with The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Gagosian Gallery to present archival materials from contemporary artists such as Anselm Kiefer, Lucian Freud and Roger Ballen. The limited edition folios are presented internationally in a series of 50 copies per issue, with original German etching prints bound in a numbered box. Each issue differs in terms of quantity of prints and respective price. All folios are printed by hand in New York.

Nomenus Quarterly is curated, designed, photographed, and art-directed by Erik Madigan Heck.
