Tate Liverpool's Light Night

May 6, 2011 by Kay

Light Night Encounters

Friday 13th May 2011

Enjoy the relaxed after-hours atmosphere at Tate Liverpool, with live music and events to entertain you throughout the evening. Local collective a.P.A.t.T. create an interactive programme of new music experiments in response to the Tate Collection exhibition Sculpture: The Physical World, co-curated by artist Michael Craig Martin.

A playful series of events explore the interplay between visual arts and music and the individual interpretation and reception of art works and art forms. Events throughout the gallery bring new understanding to the exhibition which experiments with the context and presentation of art and the spontaneous and myriad responses of the viewer.
