Drawing Biennial 2015

February 27, 2015 by Ishah

The Drawing Biennial 2015 will feature 200 recent works of art on paper by emerging and renowned artists such as, Rachel Howard, Tracey Emin, and Gary Hume. They are among a vast selection of incredible artists to feature at this year’s Drawing Biennial, held at the Drawing Rooms gallery in London on the 5th of March until the 30th of April 2015.

All of the artists have been picked by Drawing Room director's Kate Macfarlane and Mary Doyle, and additional nominations by leading international artists, directors, curators and collectors. Each artist will make an original drawing on paper with a medium of their choice. Rachel Howard will be showing an oil on paper work, 'The Cleft' (below).

In the final two weeks of the exhibition the Drawing Biennial with culminate into an auction with all works available to bid for on the Drawing Rooms website. This is an excellent opportunity for new and established collectors to acquire unique works on paper. All sales which have been donated by all participating artists will raise funds to support Drawing Room's programme for the next two years.
