OKIDO - The Blood Issue

January 16, 2010 by Kay

Children's arts and science magazine OKIDO is shortly releasing its 11th issue - The Blood Issue. This issue is all about Blood Circulation and the Heart for 2-7 year olds. It's exciting, informative, imaginative, scientific and just a little bit scary...

Messy Monster, Felix and Zoe make a new friend. Zam’s knee is bleeding so Zim and Zoom explain what blood is and how it travels everywhere in the body... Yoga Monkey tries out some new sports and Squirrel Boy feels his heart beating really fast after doing lots of exercise. Watch out for the naughty beast who has buzzed through the magazine biting lots of characters. Will Pop and Puff dicover who it is...? Be chilled by a blood-thirsty pig and spot Foxy among the body organs...eeek!

Plus a special guest appearance from some vintage toys, courtesy of the magical Museum of Childhood...

Purchase issues of Okido through our website or visit our Hinde Street store.
