Other Criteria to exclusively launch jewellery range designed by Damien Hirst with HOORSENBUHS

This month, Other Criteria will launch The Cathedral Collection, designed by Damien Hirst and American fine jewellery house Hoorsenbuhs. The limited edition collection will be exclusively at Damien Hirst’s Other Criteria shop on Bond Street, London to begin, but will also be available at Other Criteria on Broome Street, New York once doors open this May. Since 2005, Hoorsenbuhs has positioned itself as one of the most prestigious jewellery brands in the world, gaining them dedicated fans such as Damien Hirst of course, Pharrell Williams, Rihanna, Katie Holmes, David Beckham and Jay-Z.

Founded in 2005 by Robert Keith, and supported by brand ambassador Kether Parker, Hoorsenbuhs have established a reputation for impeccable craftsmanship, timeless modern design and a bold iconic presence. The collaborated pieces incorporate both pills, iconic to Hirst’s work, and the Hoorsebuhs signature “Makers Mark’ motif in18K yellow, rose and white gold, with rubies, white and black diamonds. The collection includes a limited edition rosary style necklace which holds a capsule, broken and spilling tiny precious gems, and a limited edition ring, resplendent with an array of pills and gems.

The collection is the product of a longstanding friendship between Robert Keith and Damien Hirst and their mutual respect for each other creative vision. The two limited edition pieces will be available from this collaboration from March 27th 2014.

Other Criteria was formed in 2005 by Damien Hirst, with the aim of bringing contemporary prints and editions of the highest quality to a wide audience. Other Criteria collaborates closely with established and emerging artists and designers on a wide range of unique and inspired objects including books, prints, photographs, sculptural works and jewellery.
