'The Contemporary London' at London Art Fair 2015

January 19, 2015 by Ishah

Adam Dix and Jessica Littlewood

20th – 25th January

London Art Fair 2015

Art Projects are delighted to announce that they will once again be participating in this year’s London Art Fair. Art Projects is a curated showcase of the freshest contemporary art from across the globe.

The Contemporary London will be representing and showing fresh and exciting work from acclaimed artist Adam Dix and Jess Littlewood.

Adam Dix’s work concerns itself with the association between communication technology and our desire to communicate, by analysing the response to, and subsequent personification of, the objects of modern communication. Dix investigates the similar traits found in the genres of science fiction and religion, while exploring ideas of ritual and ceremony with respect to how we engage with communication technology. This has led to the production of several works that invite the viewer to engage in a secular celebration. A festival of communication, presided over by a Shamanic custodian that acts as a conduit between audience and subject. Works such as 'All are Welcome' and 'Performers' will be among the few pieces to show at this years London Art Fair.
