Hirst's diamond skull at Palazzo Vecchio

January 24, 2011 by Kay

Palazzo Vecchio are currently displaying Damien Hirst's diamond skull artwork For The Love of God and have a contemporary art book store located on the ground floor with a variety of Other Criteria merchandise. The bookstore by Arthemisia Group has books, clothing and a selection of art objects instore.

For The Love of God will be exhibited there until 1st May 2011 so try your best to visit the museum. The artwork is a life-size cast of a human skull in platinum, covered entirely by 8,601 VVS to flawless pavé-set diamonds, so quite unmissable. However if you are unable to visit, you can console yourself by browsing our For The Love of God collection on our website.
