Nancy Spero Exhibition at Serpentine Gallery 03 March - 01 May 2011, 10am - 6pm Exhibition of the celebrated American artist, feminist and activist Nancy Spero (1926-2009). A feminist pioneer and politically active throughout her life, Spero created work that was often radical, making strong statements against war, violence, male dominance and the abuses of power.

INSPIRATIONS - IWD VISUAL ART EXHIBITION at Putney Library 07 March 2011 - 26 March 2011 Seven women artists show paintings, mosaics, photography and textile panels inspired by words written by or about women that have personally empowered them to express their creativity.
