Ryan Gander's Locked Room Scenario

September 5, 2011 by Kay

A visit to Locked Room Scenario starts with an appointment to see an exhibition. When you arrive at the warehouse on the corner of Wenlock Road and Micawber Street, the nature of the show and Ryan Gander's connection to the exhibiting artists may not be immediately clear. Accessing the building might be relatively straightforward, but much of the space inside proves inaccessible. Perhaps the exhibition has already closed, or is in the process of being taken down?

The experience of Locked Room Scenario becomes a visit littered with accumulating evidence that casts doubt on facts, details that demand interrogation, partial views of artworks and fragmentary information about the artists involved...

Tickets for Locked Room Scenario are £4 each and are available at half-hourly intervals from 12 noon on each exhibition day. Last admissions are at 7.30pm. Capacity for each appointment slot is limited to eight. Book your appointment here.
