Adam Dix in Unobtrusive Measures

November 2, 2012 by Kay

26th October - 18th November

Kunstpavillion, Old Botanical Garden at City Hall, 80333, Munich

www.unobtrusivemeasures.co.uk

Adam Dix, Ismail Erbil, Martin Fletcher Systems House, Adrian Lee, Patrick Michalopoulos, Faye Peacock, Jamie Taylor - Curated by Mark Selby

The exhibition Unobtrusive Measures brings a group of UK based artists together, each exploring shifts in the way we communicate and relate to one another in the digital age. The methods of observation and processes used in gathering material for their work places them in the position of social anthropologists and commentators. In addition, their work will not be observed directly but distanced further by being placed in sealed, constructed containers within the gallery. The work will only be viewable via a series of CCTV cameras and observation posts installed throughout the gallery space.
