CHRISTMAS BAUBLE BID! 20 Artist Baubles, 3 Days Left to Bid!

Twenty Christmas baubles have been exclusively customised and created by fashion designer Matthew Williamson's celebrity friends, including actors, designers and artists and are up for grabs on an Ebay auction until Sunday 22nd December! 100% of the proceeds will go to the charity, Kids Company. The twenty baubles will be on exhibit in London's famous Shard building, on display on level 31 at the Aqua Shard restaurant and bar until New Year's Eve.

Matthew Williamson's festive project captures his long established alliance with the art world - Matthew Williamson first collaborated with artist Mat Collishaw last year on 'Britain Creates' as part of the Cultural Olympiad for London 2012.

Well known figures including actresses Sienna Miller and Gwyneth Paltrow, and artists Rankin, Matt Collishaw and Polly Morgan have all designed their decorations, each different to the next and full of creativity, charm and a little hint of humour!

“I made an Yves Klein and Matisse inspired bright blue bauble, like a surrealist drop of winter sky. The woodpecker was my own intervention; it reminded me of Camilla Batmanghelidjhi; colourfully dressed and tenacious. What we see as dead wood, it recognises as being rich in potential. By persistently tapping away, it reaps rewards. This is the spirit of Kids Company and why I can’t say no to them.”
