Talk: ‘The Long March of Pop’ at the Saatchi Gallery London

January 19, 2015 by Ishah

Thomas Crow and Richard Cork

Wednesday 4th February 2015

Thomas Crow, author of the new book ‘The Long March of Pop’ will be in discussion with Richard Cork, art critic, broadcaster, historian and curator at 7pm on Wednesday the 4th of February 2015. The talk coincides with the current exhibition, Post Pop: East Meets West at the Saatchi Gallery, London.

‘The Long March to Pop’ successfully challenges existing narratives about the rise of Pop Art by situating it within greater cultural tides covering music, art and design. Thomas Crow will introduce his book with an illustrated presentation. Both Crow and Cork will be discussing the rise and continued legacy of Pop Art and its major influence on current art practices today.
